How to Wash Human Hair Weave Correctly

Women wear hair weaves to achieve a specific type of hair style or to alleviate the necessity of continually styling their natural real hair. Human hair weaves are generally recommended when the weave will be in the hair for an extended period of time. Maintaining human hair weaves is a very simple process, but we should treat your weave the same way you treat your natural hair since it is worthy of the money we invested on it.

Steps:
1.Disentangle the human hair weave by gently combing it with a wide toothed comb. If the hair is curly or crinkled, it should not be combed at all,just gently run your fingers through the hair to disentangle it.You may need to use a small amount of detangler spray before attempting to do this process.

2.Follow the same process you use when you shampoo your natural hair, keeping in mind, however, that you don't know what grade of hair you are shampooing. Remember, your hair reacts differently depending on the shampoo you use--some works better for you than others. Shampoo the human hair weave once, rinse and repeat the step.

3.Gently dry the hair weave with a towel, being careful not to tangle it. After shampooing, you may apply a conditioner to the weave, if you wish. Start with a light conditioner to make sure you do not weigh the hair weave down. You may apply a leave-in conditioner at this time,Rinse the conditioner out and towel dry the hair weave completely.

4.Allow the hair weave to air dry if time permits. Be careful when using hair dryers, flat irons or curling irons. Make sure not to use excessive direct heat on human hair weaves, so keep your settings on low to medium, unless the hair is coarse and requires higher heat to achieve the style you desire. If you are unsure, test a few hair strands to check how this particular hair weave responds to heat,different hair type will show differenct appearence when apply heat on them.
